Artist Statement
I create spaces in which each image exists as an autonomous unit, detached from the others.
I explore the transition from objects to forms on paper shifting according to light and exposure time.
I am fascinated by the abstraction of objects as a way to examine the relationships and encounters between them.
The themes that interest me are intimacy, identity, absence, and what once was but has ceased to be.
I do not seek to document an event, but to capture a mood a subtle echo.
I create from an observation of those fleeting moments in which something becomes clear, is experienced, and then fades away the spaces where life unfolds for me and leaves its mark on my heart.
In my process, I create cyanotype prints in which light engraves the moment onto the paper.
I use existing objects and connect them together.
Afterward, the works undergo digital editing and are presented in their final form as prints.
